We are sorry to hear the sad news about Ron & our thoughts are with you at this difficult time. In my memories visiting Ron in Bristol when I was a small boy, I always felt very welcomed, Mum always said to me that her brother had a lovely big garden which Ron looked after with so much care, when I visited I remember being shown around by Ron. My Mum (Lorreen) Dad (Trevor) & two brothers Gary & Paul & I always came to Bristol as a family & have cherished memories of those days visiting all the Porter Family. I would just like to say also to Mary, Martin & Theresa that we are sending our deepest sympathy for your loss & our thoughts are also with David, Tony & Sue, we remember Ron as the most genuine and kindest man & will be sadly missed.
